I am not receiving notifications

Men should receive notifications the day before a new phase is scheduled to start, and women should receive reminders to log their cycle start around the time of their expected period. If you are not getting notifications from Lunarmates, first check that notifications are enabled in both your device system settings, within the app, and/or browser. Also check that your partner notifications are enabled. If refreshing or re-logging in does not resolve the issue, ensure your app is updated to the latest version.

Cycle forecast seems strange — what should I do?

Lunarmates calendar forecasts are based on the registered cycle starts that are logged. Both the man and woman can edit cycle start dates. If dates are unreasonably close together or far apart, the forecast logic will respond illogically or return to a 28-day forecast. Menstruation cycles range from 21 to 35 days in length. Check the dates for the cycle logs to make sure they are recorded or estimated accurately. It can take multiple registrations for the forecast algorithm to adjust to the data.

Understanding cycles

Common knowledge is that the cycle has five phases: Menstrual, Follicular, Ovulation, Luteal, and PMS. The uncommon knowledge we build at Lunarmates is based on the assumption that every day of the 28-day cycle is different — but each day shares overlapping similarities across women.
